C O N T A C T M E
Using myself as a case study, my practice investigates the impact of trauma on the body. Informed by trauma theory, somatics, and feminism, my work addresses what many women suffer in silence with today. My research specializes in how abuse of women has been normalized throughout visual art, artists who have contended with trauma aftermath in their practice, and how trauma is recorded in the body.
As an educator, I believe in the inter-connectedness of the artistic practice and community engagement. As a passionate advocate for the arts as an agent for change, my pedagogy embraces inter-connectedness of disciplines and encourages social advocacy.
Please feel free to contact me with questions, comments, or booking. I have lectured and exhibited internationally and relish traveling and experiencing culture. Thank you for looking!
